Hey Hey We’re The Monkeys

image~Me~

Social media enthusiast and novice photographer. I love to laugh and tend to find myself giggling at things that happen in my life.  This is a blog about how I balance my life’s ups and downs.

~My Other Half ~

The love of my life, the father of my child,  and a pain in the ass, but I wouldn’t have him any other way.

 ~My Girl~

Lovable, sassy and tends to say the darnedest things.  She lives with Epilepsy, but doesn’t let it define her.

image ~Our Dog~

She’s our rescue pup who snuggles up with my girl at night and loves me the most, or at least until my husband comes home.

  1. You are so inspirational! I would love for your to share a chapter from your life in the empowering anthology series, How to Jump From a Ferris Wheel and Land on Your Feet!!

Wow.. God has blessed you and your family in so many ways and I believe that it has not always been easy. I think that women who may be going through anxiety and panic disorders and raising a child with Epilepsy or some other condition could learn a lot from you.

Please let me know.. email Mimi at

i feel sincerity upon reading about you.
i think children with some condition are inspirational.
like Meggers, my baby is premature and she has Erb’s Palsy.
she’s making me stronger everyday to accept things.

As a fact, they are gifts from God 😉

  6. My son has a very rare case of epilepsy called Doose Syndrome. He’s been seizure-free for 2 years on the modified Atkins diet. He’s been off the diet since Sep 2009. We have seen one small seizure since then but he appears to be doing well!

  9. This design is steller! You most certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
